About the Author
Writing about myself is a bit daunting. I don’t normally like to talk about myself. But if you’re considering buying this eBook, I figured you might like to know a bit more about the author. So let me begin by introducing myself. My name is Sherryl. That’s me with my nephew in the photo. I was born and raised in Southern California. I practically grew up on the beach. My family was heavily into fishing and camping. So I’ve pretty much been fishing as long as I can remember. My grandpa was a real fishing expert. He did everything from spin fishing to fly fishing. He fished for every large and small game fish in the water. And he taught me everything he knew. So did all of his fishing buddies. I’ve fished just about every way possible – short of using a spear. I love saltwater fishing – especially deep-sea fishing. But since moving to Arizona over 20 years ago, I don’t get too much opportunity to fish in the ocean any more. So I’ve spent most of the last 20 years fishing in lakes, streams and rivers. While I enjoy catching all types of game fish, trout is one of my favorites. Over the years, I’ve noticed that digging up tips and information about trout fishing is rather time consuming. Most of the information about fishing that is readily available is geared towards bass and fly fishers – not trout fishers using spinning rods and reels. You can find several articles if you search hard enough, but most of them lacked enough detail or images. I’m a visual person, and when reading about different fishing rigs, I find images very helpful. Finally, I decided that if I was having trouble finding relevant information in a timely manner, than others must be too. So that’s why I decided to write this eBook. To help folks find the information and tips they need to catch more trout without having to spend hours of frustration trying to seek it out. I hope that gives you a better idea of who I am, my background and why I wrote this eBook. I have no desires to be rich and famous, I just want to help others experience the joy of catching more trout! Cheers, S. Masterman
